Tossing Approval, Channeling Empowerment

I debated on posting this blog, but I decided I am proud of my journey, and wanted to share. I did a boudoir shoot last year with Fearlessly Feminine to celebrate my journey, and my body. Doing this shoot was empowering. Let’s talk about how amazing it is to be vulnerable. Was I immediately comfortable to strip down? Of course not. With that said, there is so much beauty tapping into raw feelings, and finding the confidence to know you are exactly how you should be.

As women, we are sometimes shamed if we show too much skin, or we are a prude if we cover our bodies in clothing. What if we just didn’t shame women at all? What if we supported women in whatever way they want to show up in the world.

My biggest take away? You should have an appreciation for yourself just the way you are. My good friend, Chris Crews always says, “Thoughts become things.” What you think about yourself, becomes your truth. What if you told yourself you were everything you want to be. You can be those things. Every single one of them. Manifest those thoughts.

What are you doing to celebrate yourself, and celebrate your body?
